All Eyes on Rio

With the Olympic Games well underway, a beautiful Brazilian home I’ve recently seen in Architectural Digest came to mind.  The vacation home of CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and his partner Benjamin Maisani is a little corner of paradise nestled in the town of Trancoso, Brazil. The property contains four different buildings designed by Brazilian fashion designer turned hotelier Wilbert Das. The grounds were exquisitely tailored by landscape designer Juliana Favaroto, with a free-form swimming pool surrounded by rain forest.

Lots of white, exotic woods and antique finds are layered to create a chic, rustic getaway. I could totally write a blog post or two from here 🙂 …

Weathered blue, gray – green woods complement the natural feel of the home, adding color to the neutral scheme.

Oh my this is just so beautiful. I love everything but that distressed turquoise ceiling won me over. 🙂
