The Bee Cottage Garden Tour

Happy Friday! Or should I better say, happy Saturday? Because if you’re anywhere near the Hamptons tomorrow, June 17, and would love to get a master gardener tour, you can join the ARF 31st annual tour that will benefit abandoned animals. This way you can contribute to a beautiful cause and enjoy the seven stunning gardens featured on this year’s schedule, one of which is the fabulous Bee Cottage. I just wish I lived closer!

The grounds of Bee Cottage have been designed by esteemed landscape designer Jane Lappin of Wainscott Farms and are perfectly suited for this fairytale cottage. Here’s a virtual tour for all of us who won’t make it to tomorrow’s tour!

Oh how I wish I was still on the East coast for this! I’ve been a fan of Bee Cottage ever since seeing Frances’ column in House Beautiful magazine years ago. Then I was delighted to buy her book and now years later, as fate would have it, I’m in a book club with her! And she is just as lovely and gracious as you would imagine.

How wonderful, Elizabeth! Life can be funny that way…If you ever decide to write a book about The Little Glass House I would love an autograph!!!! I do not know Frances personally but we’ve connected a few times through this blog and on Instagram, she is lovely and so kind indeed!
