More than a crush, I would call this OBSESSION 🙂 I’ve been obsessed with this foyer ever since I first saw it in a corner of Pinterest so I tracked down the house and the designer. It turns out it’s Betsy Burnham of Burnham Design, a cool Los Angeles based firm that did this entire house, top to bottom. And the good news is that the rest of it is as good as this entryway!
Above, the recipe for a successful foyer: statement round pedestal table filled with chinoiserie ginger jars and greenery (very LA, very Mark D. Sikes) funky pendant lamp and, my all time favorite design element- the faux Zebra hide 🙂
Here’s a different angle with a close-up of a reading corner, love everything in here. The plaid blue-and-red pillow is a perfect touch. Don’t you agree? And I think I’m gonna start turning my books inside-out.
Another sitting area in the hallway with a clear view of the harlequin painted floors. Gorgeous.
Coastal vibes in the home office.
And I can almost feel the breeze in this fresh blues & greens goodness of a bedroom.
Bedding is totally on point.
In the master bath, another neat design idea – bring plants by your bathtub 🙂
The nautical theme is continued in the family room (above) and dining room (bellow). More navy blues and greens.
This Americana themed kids room is fun and stylish and has extra bunk beds for sleepovers! So charming!
Anyway, I’m off for the day but I hope you’ve enjoyed this home tour and I’ll see you all tomorrow!
